Great Neighborhood Scene Today

Thank you to Benedict College owned English Meadows Apartments for allowing us to take over the neighborhood for Safe House filming today. It was a fun set today as you can see from the picture above.

Spread the WORD!!We want a Packed house for the church scene on Saturday July 17 from 8:00am - 3:00pm at Francis Burns UMC 5616 Farrow Road. Young, old, and all ethnicities are Welcomed.

Although we had an hour rain delay. Thanks for the cast and extras who came and stayed to make this Christian Film a SUCCESS!!

Talent/Extras Update

All Talent and Extras are asked to bring a Bible.


Also, note the time of filming has changed from 9:00am-3:00pm due to shooting schedule adjustment.

Sat. June 26 Update for Cast

To help in answering some of your questions about Sat. June 26, we have compiled the following information.

Location- Francis Burns United Methodist Church  5616 Farrow Road, Columbia, SC 29203 Accessible from 277, I-77, and I-20. 

Time- 9am-3pm We request everyone show up at the time indicated; however, you are free to leave at anytime.

Clothing/Attire -What's not permissible- Anything with logos!!  What's permissible- Pant suits, slacks, dresses, short or long sleeve dress shirt, skirts, "church" hats for women; Suit, short or long sleeve button shirt, slacks, blazer, polo shirts for men; Jeans are ok if pressed and worn with belt and nice shirt as casual attire (women or men). There will be a designated changing room for women and men. Clothes will be monitored by production team.

Church etiquette- No Food in Sanctuary! No Smoking on the premises, including parking lot.

Hair/Make-up- we have a basic make-up kit. Extras and Talent are asked to bring preferred make-up and hair accessories.  Production staff can assist with application of make-up and hair styling.

Named talent not needed on Sat.- Steve Earnest, Jack Stecher, Anothony McBride, Simone Anderson. However, your family and friends are encouraged to come on set to be Extras.

Others may not be needed on set in front of the camera, but asked to help behind the scenes.  Look for your name below.  


All Extras- Please report as requested at 9am.  Bring families and friends. Children under 12 must be accompanied by parent or responsible adult in scene.  Anyone that hasn't completed a casting application must complete one before you leave.

The following persons are requested to report at 7:30am. If you are unavailable, please contact us via email ASAP.  You will each assist in the following capacities:

Celina Fields, Kathy Snelgrove, and Cheryl Snell to be Wardrobe/Extra/Talent Coordinator-the major stuff. Alma Hill can assist.

The Mothers of Lauren, Marquell, and Jordan to assist with Extras, Talent, etc...but also be extras. Also ShaQuan Gantt (please report at earlier time) will assist. You can wear casual clothing for church scene.

Deux, Marquell, Davyon, and Desmond can secure doors for people entering in church when taping in-session, take out the trash, etc...

Gregg, Cris, Arnett, Shayne, can help with Zeb, Ed, and Paul with camera/lighting/grip.

Foulks family will help with for food prep and with hair/make-up

Francis Burns Members will help with facility-related questions- restroom, changing rooms,  craft services, etc; Main Contact- Rebecca W. Eleazer
